Make Me A Winner
campaign designbranding
website/e-commerce design
Brief: Make Me A Winner offers audiences the chance to win life-changing prizes for a small entry fee. Well known among Bauer Media's radio listeners, it had only a simple text logo, with nothing distinctive or reassuring enough to build trust with a wider audience. Thinkfarm was tasked with creating an identity to elevate it as Bauer's master competitions brand.
Response: Research showed that while prizes are tangible, the heart of a competition is the entrant. Our response was to make "ME" the emotional and visual anchor and putting the entrant at the centre of the story.

Logo design
The ‘ME’ idea was highlighted with a ticket shape which formed the basis of the logo which I drew and refined. The shape from the logo became a recurring device, framing photography, carrying calls to action and holding prize details. I created the brand guidelines to keep the system consistent across digital, social, print and broadcast, and designed the website and user interface.

Rollout
The rebrand led up to a close Christmas deadline when an advertising campaign and new website would be launched. They needed to strike a balance between celebratory and trustworthy. The challenge with the website was that, with a plethora of prizes and competitions running at once, users would still need to clearly find their way around and access important information.
As Christmas approached and the brand was handed over, I managed the relationship with Bauer's internal designers as they worked to embed it into their workflow.
