Brief: Royal Museums Greenwich needed a campaign image for its Moon exhibition. The brief was simply to combine a photograph of an astronaut with a photograph of the Moon.
Response: The challenge was to make the composite look convincing, not like a photocollage. I used colour grading, shading and image treatment to integrate the two photographs. The artwork was applied across an extensive print campaign on London transport, including 6- and 12-sheet posters.

Outcome
I rolled out the resulting composition scheme across static and moving out-of-home and digital advertising. To the client’s delight, the exhibition attracted 23 per cent more visitors than their target.
